This page describes HotBoxCams’ current handling of site activity and contact information. HotBoxCams runs on WordPress with Hostinger hosting. Questions about this policy or a request concerning information you submitted can be sent through Contact.
Browser tools
Inputs to our calculators and decision tools are processed in your browser for their results. The site does not send those entered values into its aggregate metrics. A tool-use event may be counted separately, as described below. Avoid entering personal information into fields intended for camera requirements or numerical assumptions.
Aggregate activity counts
We collect first-party counts of page views, tool use, comparison, guide and model interactions, and outbound-link events to understand which parts of the site are useful. The stored metrics contain the day, event type, page identifier, model identifier, module and count. They do not include a browser identifier or use analytics cookies.
These aggregate records are retained for 90 days. Events from logged-in administrators are excluded. A temporary hashed IP value is used separately for rate limiting and abuse protection; it is not a visitor identifier in the aggregate reporting records.
Contact messages
The contact form collects the name, email address and message you submit. These are stored privately in WordPress so an authorized site administrator can review and handle the inquiry. Access to stored messages is restricted to administrators authorized to manage the site.
Submitting the form does not start a newsletter subscription or send an automatic email acknowledgement. We retain a message while handling the matter, until it is resolved or a deletion request is handled. Include only information needed for the inquiry, not payment details, passwords or unrelated sensitive information.
Hosting and external sites
Hosting infrastructure may retain ordinary access and security logs, which can include technical request information such as IP addresses. These operational logs are separate from our aggregate event counts. Hostinger provides its own privacy information; its service practices are not a promise that HotBoxCams collects every category described there.
Following an Amazon or other external link takes you to a different website. That provider may use its own cookies, account information and tracking under its policies. See our affiliate disclosure for the commercial relationship behind Amazon links.
Requests and changes
To ask about or request deletion of a contact submission, identify the email address used and enough context to locate the message. We may need to clarify the request before acting. The contact form is the request channel; no fixed response time is promised.
We update this page when the described site features or handling practices change. The checked date records the policy version’s review date, not a guarantee about another provider’s future practices.
